How much does it cost to sell on Aroxo

Aroxo is very cost effective service to sell on. Aroxo simply connects sellers to highly targeted pre-qualified sales leads at a very low cost.

These leads are from people who have spent the time and effort to say exactly what they want and how much they want to pay for an item. You also get additional information on the buyer in terms of their location, their purchasing history and feedback from other sellers to enable you to target potential customers more precisely.

As a seller on Aroxo, you can review your stock list and are then able to precisely see the number of people who want each item that you sell, together with the price they are each willing to pay.

All you have to do is set a minimum price at which you would sell each item. You can then ‘skim’ the Aroxo market for profitable transactions.

When a buyer lists a Want-it-Note on Aroxo they also list a price that they are willing to pay for the item. This is the price on which our contact fees are based, irrespective of the price that you ultimately agree which may be higher (thus making your cost of sale even cheaper)!

Focusing on genuine sales leads means that you will no longer throw resources at low value opportunities or Ad Words where the conversation rates are low and the eventual cost of sale often high.

Are the fees the same for all items?

No - The fees that you pay to sell on Aroxo depend on the type of product that you are selling. For example, our fees for selling consumer electronics will be different from those we charge for selling a car.

At present our fees are as follows:

Electronics

  • 0.3% of buyer's wanted price
  • Zero minimum fee
  • Zero final value fee

Home audio and video:

  • 0.3% of buyer's wanted price
  • Zero minimum fee
  • Zero final value fee

As an example, let's assume that you are selling an Apple iPod touch 16GB for £215, to a buyer whose Want-it Note price was £200. The fee payable to contact the buyer would be £0.60 (0.3% of £200).

Even if it took 8 leads to achieve a sale for £215, the total would be £4.80, that's a total percentage cost of sale of just 2.2%.

The more competitive your prices the higher your conversion rates will be and the more efficient Aroxo will be as a sales channel. If you are able to offer good prices which buyers cannot refuse your cost of sale could be as low as 0.3%!
